Eyes burning with flames of golden persistence are staring at me, taunting. “What I did was wrong, but you broke our terms.”
I scoffed, “what terms?” I dropped my bag on the floor with a thud.
Gio sighed. “Do I have to spell it out for you?” looking at me in exasperation. “I don’t share what’s mine, and you agreed to be mine.”
This man really is impossible to deal with. I rolled my eyes with a huff, “the terms of this deal are fairly unclear to me, buddy. You own no one, and you don’t go punching people I talk to. This is one crazy agreement I shouldn’t have conceded to in the first place. Now leave me alone.”
