KAGE MUTTERED once he realize that his hunch back to the center hall was right.

It was started when the Han family went to their house for a dinner. Mrs. Han mentioned about the harvest week, and when Marco and Augustus heard about that, Kage saw their faces suddenly brightened with the news.

Nevertheless, he just ignored them that time thinking that it is not that really suspicious. But when Teresa and Puferto told him about the gold, he was starting to move the puzzle pieces.

Out of a blue, these geologists suddenly came to the town, perfectly timing for the harvest week. Harvest week where most farmers would have substantial amount of money, enough for their scheme.

Then second thing, they announced the existence of gold in town, which is too suspicious for Kage to handle.

That was why he hesitated to believe at first. Now, lying in front of his two eyes is the embosser that could support his assumption---Marco and Augustus are both scammers.
