Melissa's Pov

"Are you alright Melissa?" Anabelle asked, her face overwhelmed with so much worry that she didn't take her gaze off me.

I was so mute and it felt really hard to utter a word. Slowly, I turned only to find Conri watching me and not far from where he stood was Nelson, his sharp gaze not leaving me too.

"What happened?" I was very confused and I tried to sit up.

"You have to relax Melissa, you bleeded" Anabelle stopped me from getting up, "You need to rest, you was almost killed by whomever invaded this pack and found his way to you"

I still couldn't utter a word, gently,I noticed a heavy weight on my head, slowly, I touched my forehead only to figure out that a bandage was tied around it just to prevent the blood that trickled down my face.

I had so many questions lingering in my head, questions that needed immediate answers.

"Where is he?" I suddenly asked.

"Who?"

"The man who attacked me, where is he?" Implored again, more aggressive this time.
