Chapter 224: MANDY

I stopped feeling their kicks and punches. My mind had gone to a different place. I removed myself from the situation and instead thought of how I got here. How everything had come to this end. How I'd gone from riding high, to getting kicked like a dog on the floor.

If Stanley had done his job, none of this would be happening. It's like I'd told him before, he was a worthless piece of shit. It's all because of him that things had gone wrong.

Because of him that my life had become like this. He's the one who should be enduring this, not me. He's the one who'd plunged the knife into that bitch after all.

I rolled over onto my side and stared at the wall as above me they carried on screaming and yelling about all the things I'd done to them. What sniveling idiots.

I closed my eyes no longer caring what they saw, or what they thought, and was thankful for the effect of the drugs that had made me numb, though I felt some of the pain from the harder kicks and punches.
