Emotions

I kept the lights dimmed. I left Tom siting on the couch and left to the bathroom to look for some antiseptics and bandage. I brought a bowl of water along with the first aid kit and put them on the table. Then I sat next to Tom and took his hand to wash the wound.

Tom was gazing at me intensively but didn’t say a word. I was trying to ignore him and continued treating him. I raised his palm a bit and dried it gently with a towel leaving the knuckles. I took out a sterile gauze and soaked it in saline solution.
