It’s been six months since that day and everything has returned to normal. Well as normal as this pack can get. I guess Dustin was right when he said crazy shit happens within this alliance. I look down when I hear a small cry and smile. I am holding my one-week-old daughter. Emerald was pregnant when she took on those fuckers. She had no idea since she didn’t have any signs or symptoms. In fact, she had no idea she was pregnant until we rushed her to the hospital a week ago and she gave birth to our second little princess, whose name is Katyryia. She has mine and Nate’s eyes and hair the colour of the night. It is also extremely curly. I have no idea where she got the curly hair. A few of the guys joked that she wasn’t ours, but Nate and I know that Emerald would never cheat on us so we aren’t concerned.

“I would still like to know where this dark curly hair came from.” Mom said.

“That’s easy from me.” A man says.
