Chapter 16

Walking into the office, my mother was already in her spot, Silas was sitting on the couch with Von on the otherwise. We were the last of the group to arrive before the witches showed up.

Sitting in the armchair, “Did you enjoy your mingling?” I asked Silas.

He smiled at me. “Yes, we did. Thank you for your hospitality.”

“Of cour-”

POP! A bright light flashed, blinding us all for a few seconds before two people stood before us. There was a slight smoke that drifted around the room. Caughing back the tears, I studied them. They both looked like they were in their late teens. I didn’t trust their youthful appearance, as I’m sure they took a potion that has made them that way. They looked like hippies with their tied-dyed clothes, fringe laced shirt and boots. The male had shaggy, dirty blonde hair, and the lady had wavy long, light brown hair. All they needed was a blunt, and they basically stepped out of the 70s.
