Giovanni’s eyes fluttered and then opened and literally immediately, a smile appeared on his face.

It wasn’t his usual mornings with him waking up to the loud sound of his alarm and an empty bed. He had woken however he pleased and right next to him was Emily.

She had her body pressed against his, his arms wrapped around her. His smile widened as he realize they had spent the entire night in that position.

His arm was probably numb but at that moment he didn’t care. All he could care about was Emily sleeping comfortably. She could rest on his arm for even longer and his arm could go sore for all he cared.

Tilting his head, he continued to stare at her face. Was she always that beautiful or was it just a morning bonus? Though her hair was disheveled, it still looked gorgeous, few strands falling to her face in a useless attempt at preventing him from feeding his eyes.
