One Hundred and Eighty Four

Gwyneth’s POV

I ended up grilling for what we were going to eat today. I slowly walked over to the table as the whole house was slippery due to the rain.

I was slightly startled by the hands that suddenly accompanied me, supporting me.

"Careful, the road is slippery." said Kalex and held me by the waist.

I ignored him.

"I know..."

"But you do not know the disaster."

I just looked at him and did not answer. When I had landed the food, I had roasted I first sat on the sofa, where Asha and I were singing.

"Finished?" Asha asked as I sat down next to her.

"Yep, are we going to eat?" I asked again.

He looked at his wristwatch first before answering me.

"All right, let's just wait for the other food to be cooked." He replied.

I just nodded and watched them happily singing on videoke. I did not sing even though they were forcing me, apart from being embarrassed I did not trust my voice.
