One Hundred and Forty Three

Gwyneth’s POV

“Where have you been? It’s too late now in the evening,” I asked Kalex and stood from laying at the couch. 

I was waiting for him to come home but I didn’t realize that I fall asleep while waiting for him. It’s past twelve in the midnight and he just arrived. Usually his end shift always fell at eight in the evening so I am kinda curious if what’s gotten on him.

“I believe I am not obliged to answer every time you asked,” he didn’t at least look at my direction and went past straight to our room.

I waited for him, but guess like he didn’t somehow recognize the effort I was making. Just this morning we were doing so fine and then now… it looks like he’s been in so much pressure at work. 

I sat back on the sofa and couldn’t help but to think ridiculous. This may sound absurd
