Mind Mutilate

Shadow got out of the car as the soldiers greeted her left and right, bowing down. A long red carpet stretched long from the car until inside the main door of the mansion.

She stepped on top of it, the dirt under the shoes left its own print. So she took the chance to scuff his shoe on the flooring without a care a few times.

While doing so, Elijah straightened up the wrinkled attire of Shadow without being asked. As the leader of the soldiers, David acted as a chauffeur; he was perfect for the job. 

So, it pricked Shadow’s conscience to see he wasted his time with another pack of cigars.
