“March on, my people. March on. Our promise day has arrived. La la la la.” Shadow was singing low while dancing in front of Elijah, Conan, Amel, Keira, and their respective company.

“Are you having fun?” 

“Yes, I am. I am Elijah. I am having fun. Too much, in fact.”

The rest of them were only watching Shadow's behavior with different expressions. But even if they felt disgusted to see the lord’s happiness over another's downfall, no one ever dared to open their mouths. 

As if understanding their agony, Shadow stopped dancing with the invincible music and became calm, instantly. She looked at them with her usual indifferent pupils, penetrating over the heart, smiling at their discomfort.
