CHAPTER 30: SHARA REYES
When Cristine walked up to the rooftop and opened the door.
She had noticed her.
She is her companion.
She was someone she wished to protect.
She treated her as though she were a sibling.
She was someone who wished to protect her.
Why has she gone back?
Cristine spoke softly, "Shara." She remained disoriented, unsure whether she was dreaming or not.
She called her.
She saw her again.
She has returned.
The fabled School Protector has returned.

Ace Academy, still in a three-year flashback.Cristine arrived at Ace Academy early. The incident involving Cristine was disclosed to the principal. Everyone but the principal was unaware. It is not ideal for Cristine to discuss this type of experience. She doesn't want to incite dread and panic.The school regularly does a flag-raising ceremony on Mondays. Cristine explored the school because she arrived early. She also missed the school's customary sense of calm and fresh air. It appeared as though the school was a separate place from everything else.For a month, Cristine has presided over the Student Council. Not all students were aware of her, but some were. Some people only heard her name and never actually saw her. It was unclear how she managed to win the election.When Cristine was taking a tour of the school, she noticed a person harassing a girl. The girl named Mae timidly said, "Thank you for standing up for me." Mae glanced at Cristine worriedly and said, "But you don't have to do that. Fern is resentful." Cristine grinned a little. This girl is still very simple. Society outside is terrible. If you don't want to be bullied repeatedly, you have to stand up for yourself. "It's my duty, so don't worry too much; just call me Cristine." Cristine smiled heartily at Mae. She hopes that this girl can maintain her pure heart. This girl seemed like a freshman to Cristine. Being bullied in this way is terrible. "Okay, older sister Cristine," Mae hesitantly and blushingly said. Cristine found it funny, so why blush? After bidding farewell, Cristine headed straight for the open field. She searched for her classmates and the line they were standing in. Cristine looked for the principal as well, but found Mercy. Mercy Almedilla is the Student Council Vice President of the Ace Academy. She gives Cristine a hearty hug as a welcome.

Before her brain could respond, Cristine's body reacted. Daris and Jay were dragged in front of her, and the rest were kicked. Cristine evaded the attack. The boys have not yet reacted. Because of the light, the katana's blades sparkle. It was flawlessly polished. If it can effortlessly slice individuals in half, Cristine won't have any doubts. Although the man gave them a cold stare, you can see a slight curve on the edge of his lips. Cristine twitched her lips. She desperately wants to strike the man in front of her at least once. The Black Ace's other members exuded confidence. They continued to watch. How self-assured they were! For a split second, Cristine believed they were scared of her, but she was mistaken. She said, "Thank you. You came just in time. You need to go soon so anyone can't see you. Leave no space for anyone to ask questions." It's the first time anyone has ever seen her with the Light Saviors. She doesn't want anyone to make assumptions. People occasionally have eyes that are too sensitive. After being startled, Cristine rapidly regained her composure. She pushed the man. He took a step backward. Cristine questioned him sternly, "Who are you?" Cristine was keeping a close eye on him. She can't think of anyone who has the same appearance as the man, or she's simply too disoriented right now. He smiled sarcastically and said, "I'm your answer, Empress." Cristine's uncertainty persisted. She has no trust in this man. She is more likely to trust her instincts than a total stranger. He replied, with sympathy for Cristine, "You still haven't changed, my empress, you are still you, weak." Cristine was at a loss for words. Cristine was still in the hospital, lying on the bed. Clyde is already gone. Clyde has already told Cristine that he is familiar with all of her past actions. When Cristine heard that, she felt embarrassed. Although she doesn't mean to hide it, she appears to have reservations about her brother. Cristine was taken to the hospital by Darylle.
