I didn't know how to bring up the news about Paris to Alexander. I couldn't tell Gia or Ruby because they knew nothing about my office scandal.

Alexander had invited me over tonight and for the first time in a while, I felt like cancelling the invitation.

The mirror in my bathroom turned out to the perfect object to fixate on while I thought about my life choices. I stared at my reflection, noting each and every imperfections on my face while applying a decent size of makeup on my face.

I used the brown lip liner to line my lips, dabbed a bit on it before applying lipgloss to make my lips look glossy. Would Alexander be disappointed or mad at me perhaps for agreeing to go to Paris with Mr Warner.

Would he come with me as a way to protect me? If I went on the trip with Mr Warner, I could finally finish what I came for and just disappear without Charles running down my throat alongside my mother.
