As Reuben reassured me of his love and concern, I couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt for causing him such worry. I knew I needed to reassure him that I was fine, even though the remnants of the nightmare still lingered in my mind.

"I'm sorry, Reuben," I whispered, my voice filled with sincerity. "I didn't mean to scare you. It was just a nightmare, and I think the exhaustion got the best of me. But I promise, I'm feeling much better now."

Reuben's worried expression softened, and he gently brushed a strand of hair away from my face. "I'm glad to hear that, Naomi. Just remember, I'm here for you, no matter what. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask."

His words warmed my heart, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for his unwavering support. I nodded, a small smile forming on my lips. "Thank you, Reuben. I truly appreciate your love and care."
