Chapter One Hundred And Forty Nine

As the reporters continued to press against the door, their voices growing louder and more insistent, I felt my anxiety reach its peak. My mind raced, desperately searching for a way to escape this situation, but I knew deep down that there was no way out. I had to face them, to confront the consequences of my actions.

Taking a deep breath, I turned to my father, my voice trembling with nervousness. "Father, we can't keep them out forever. We have to face them. I'll do my best to answer their questions, but please, stand by my side."

My father nodded, his expression filled with a mixture of concern and determination. "Naomi, we will face this together. Remember, you are not alone in this. We will get through this as a family."

With his words of support echoing in my mind, I took a deep breath and steeled myself for what lay ahead. My father slowly opened the door, and the reporters surged forward, their cameras flashing and microphones thrust towards me.
