Chapter Thirty Six

As the crowd's accusations and insults echoed through the grand hall, I felt a mix of anger and desperation welling up within me. How could they reject me so easily? I had dedicated myself to learning and growing, to becoming the best queen I could be. But it seemed that my efforts were in vain.
