Chapter 34 – GUNSHOT

It was quiet and dark. I was still holding her hand but I couldn't see her. It's pitch black. It stinks. It's the smell of blood. I know where we are now. It's the cabin.

This was when I let Alora escape. I was brought to the other room separated from Percy and Sophie. My eyes were blindfolded so I could only hear the voices of our captors. My hands were tied above my head and I was in a standing position. They tore my clothes off, leaving only my underwear. They tortured me after Alora's disappearance. They've been asking me where she went but I never spoke. My whole body is in pain. I can smell the blood coming from my back. They whipped me 30 times already. Yes. I've been counting it. I wish Alora got away far from here.

They never gave me food or water for a day now. I'm still thinking about Alora. Did she escape? Did she ask for help? Is she safe?
