"Blood," Kavya exclaimed in shock..
"Where the hell is the switchboard? I'm not getting why this place is so dated."
He screamed in frustration, his hands searching for the switchboard on the wall.
"Wait, I'll open the windows."
She slid open the window, allowing the sun's rays to flood the room with light.
They were both taken aback by what they had just witnessed after the light had illuminated the previously dark room.
The floor was splattered with blood, and the furniture was drenched in it.
"What happened here?"
Her inquisitive question, full of concern for Harry's mother reflected in her voice.
"I believe a killing occurred here; otherwise, why would this place be so bloody?"
He muttered something.
"What the hell are you saying, I can't even hear yo..."
Before she could speak another word her mouth was closed by Ivaan's palm in the middle of her sentence.
"Be quiet, by killing and murder, I meant that they must have killed someone here and could be hiding here."
She calmed down and nodded like an obnoxious girl.
He slowly removed his palm from her mouth and returned his attention to the blood patches on the floor, which indicated that someone had been dragged from there after being killed.
"Come," he motioned for her to follow behind him.
She rushed over and took his hand in hers to make him feel secure.
The tension between them was intense, with a rapid breathing rate.
They followed the blood patches downstairs to one of the rooms which ended up near a wooden box.
"Ivaan, what could be in that box?"
She questioned him as she dug her nails into his palms, her voice trembling.
"First, stop hurting me with your sharp nails."
"Oh, I'm sorry... but I can't help."
She tightens her grip on his right arm.
He moved closer to the blood-soaked wooden coffin box and opened it.
"Oh hell!"
He quickly turned back and covered Kavya's eyes so she wouldn't see the dead body covered in blood in that box.
"Don't look, it's scary."
"But what did you see? Is there a dead body?"
She questioned him impatiently, a worried reflection in her voice.
"Yes."
Her heart sank deep within her chest and she felt as if something inside had suddenly broken.
"I want to see...Move."
She removed his hands from her eyes and walked forward with trembling steps to see.
"Ahhh," she exclaimed upon seeing the body, which was in a very bad state, indicating that the person had been tortured and then brutally murdered.
"I told you not to look, but you never listen to me."
He approached her and hugged her, hiding her face beneath his chest.
Kavya couldn't hold back her tears any longer, so she dropped the medicine packet and let her tears stream out.
"It's fine, let's go now."
He was about to take her, but she moved because she saw something stuck in the dead body's hands.
Getting all the courage she could muster, she controlled her tears, which were making her vision blurry. She took the object from the dead body's grasp.
It was a blood-splattered digital diary that was password-protected.
"What could be in this?"
She wiped the blood away with her skirt and attempted to open it, but the password was difficult to crack.
"Would you like me to try?"
She handed the diary over to Ivaan, who was able to crack the password in a matter of seconds, much to Kavya's surprise.
"How?"
"Because I just used logic, she is a mother, so her son could be her password. For example 13Harry23, means ``I love Harry, my son."
Ivaan responded proudly, as if he were some kind of brave fighter who had just won a medal for completing his first mission.
After hearing his response, she raised her brows but did not smile.
When she opened the dairy, the Windows operating system appeared, complete with pictures of Harry and her mother.
There were memories of Harry and his mother including his childhood videos that brought tears back to her eyes.
Then there was one file labelled "my secret letter to my son."
Kavya opened the file and a sweet voice spoke through it.
"My son, I love you."
"I know you hate me because I didn't stop you from joining the army, but I'm helpless too; after your father's death, if you had not joined the army, you would have been killed by them..."
The woman's voice trembled, indicating that she was holding her tears while recording this message.
"I never wanted to make you feel like my son, I have always kept you away from me only so you can hate me and stay away from me, but you know I have always missed you, I have spent my every night crying for you; just to see you once but I never know when you will get holiday from work."
"And I know I'll never be able to tell you this because I lack the courage to do so, which is why I'm recording it down in my diary. If they try to take you away from me again, I will fight them."
That woman's voice sobbed before the voice recording ended, making Ivaan and Kavya emotional while listening to her voice. Anyone can sense the pain and tension between her mother's feelings for her son.
"She must have fought for Harry in such bad shape just to keep him with her."
Kavya sobbed uncontrollably.
"It's fine."
He closed the diary, tucked it into his trouser pocket, and then covered it again.
He was about to inform the investigation department about the situation when a military plane's supersonic sound echoed outside the building.
"What's going on here?"
She wiped her face and moved her gaze from the window to where Ivaan was looking.
They noticed the ten military flying ships arranged in a line outside there.
The highest-ranking officials emerged from them, shouting at a group of people but their faces were obscured.
But then one of the officers started kicking a guy who was so young . That guy seemed to be refusing to carry out their orders.
Something suddenly popped into her head.
"Isn't that official who's kicking Traskyian, and that guy who's taking his brutal kicks one of us?"That is, this is a place where ordinary people live, but why are they treated so poorly in comparison to city dwellers?"I'm still wondering who killed Harry's mother so brutally.""Hey, where are you busy?"Ivaan's voice jolted her out of her reverie."Ahh Yes.""Run. Someone is on their way, I believe."He whispered, pointing to the downstairs, where she could hear footsteps."However, I need to get some answers here..."Before she could say anything, Ivaan scooped her into his arms and tiptoed up the stairs without making a sound. She remained silent, her mind preoccupied with her own thoughts. Her grandfather's written text was revolving inside her head, but then her eyes matched Ivaan's.His f
Ivaan was taken aback when he heard the words "military academy." Is Kavya insane? Doesn't she know it's illegal to enter any security organisation without permission? It's also a high risk factor to attend a military academy where you could be shot dead if they don't find you one of them."Hey, girl, we're not going there. Simply abandon your plan to give the diary to Harry, or whoever he is. We'll parcel him later. Are you listening...?"Ivaan was acting like a fool to her, she had already walked towards the plane to get inside, leaving him babbling by himself."I'm going to die today with her. Dad, I'm sorry I won't be able to see you last time."He murmured as he walked behind her, wearing his helmet.Kavya turned back to see him, removed her helmet's glass and smirked at him as he approached from behind her. He can't leave her alone and she was well aware of this."He
Ivaan's astute response to the officer astounded Kavya. She smiled awkwardly because she was afraid he wouldn't be able to handle the situation. The officer who questioned them was pleased with his response as well. It was, indeed, a good one."Ah! I am so sorry young gentlemen. Let us open the door for everyone; otherwise, going one by one will take a long time."The other officers who were with him agreed with his suggestion. When one of them inserted his identity card, the gate detector swung open."Come on gentlemen, get inside."The officers ordered the candidates to enter before the door closed.Well, let me explain. The I'd of officers has the authority to open the entrance for 5 minutes. So, in just a few minutes, thousands of candidates entered hurriedly but in line. The candidates were led through a lighted corridor where their physica
"The engines have started; you are ready to use me, master."Both of their powered armours were activated by this electronic voice.Ivaan and Kavya exchanged glances before taking off at breakneck speeds. The academy went on alert after only 5 seconds of their activation."Alert! We have two foreign passcode servers using our armour."This announcement was made in every corner of the academy, alerting all candidates, officers, and employees. The security guards were assigned to different corridors throughout the academy. They had detectors that could detect foreign passcodes. The main issue for them was that they couldn't stop or disconnect the civilian server in the academy because it was all connected by satellite. If they disconnect the civilian server, the public will be in complete chaos. They were both running like bullets to avoid being det
"Who are they ?"Kavya whispered through her sensor."I think they are the operators of the powered armour."Ivaan responded by staying stuck with his position. The five humans with their headphones stood there encircling them. They were looking very serious with their lightsaber pointed out towards Kavya and Ivaan. They were the operators of powered armour and were the most brilliant fighters. They had the best moves and smart attacks to drop their enemy. It was completely fake news that operators of powered armour were weak and only played with their brain. They were the most amazing fighters who had mind plus strength. Kavya noticed a familiar face in them."Harry is in them.""What?"He roamed his eyes all over the men standing over there. He saw Harry standing in front of him but he can't reveal his face to Harry otherwise their identities will be
Kavya hesitated to leave Harry in danger. She was feeling so helpless right now, her dad was Mayor but still she can't help him. Ivaan's dad was General , but still he couldn't help him. They were totally under slavery system, the status of their dads was only for show off. She was sure that the Traskyian officials were not going to leave him alive.Suddenly there was a rushing sound from the tunnel which distracted three of them."Will two now leave,I think they're heading up soon. We all will be dead meat," Harry informed them, getting worried. He wanted them to leave from there as soon as possible. That's why he helped them to get out from the guards ' trap."But Harry, I am just wondering how you'll deal with your case!! We can get out of here safely. What do you think?" Kavya hesitated to leave Harry there alone to die.Harry sighed and looked at Ivaan. It was an indirect command to
Kavya gave him a disgusted glance when he was laughing at her crazily. Was he underestimating her knowledge or making fun of her? She didn't mean that she will carry the powered armour in her hands and march on.She quietly long pressed her chest button and there was sudden movement inside the powered armour. In a blink of a second the almighty powered armour was formed into a small box shape.Ivaan was standing there with his jaw dropping off. His laughing face was soon converted into a confused and shocked face. All thanks to Kavya's intelligent mind, she managed to pack up the amour. They both packed their amour in a box and took a bullet flying train which connects every city. Because they were too far from their city , they had no way to go . Soon they arrived at the city where they lived , now they only had to detect Ivaan's bike so that they could safely fly back to their house."A
After landing safely, Ivaan asked her to give him a wrist watch amour because it was the latest edition which he bought."I'll give you the price of this wrist watch, now forget it . It's mine , I have operated my system with this watch,"she replied bluntly like she was scolding him."Ok , I will not ask but the price is something else."He smiled evilly, it was clear he was teasing her again. She stared at him in confusion. What could be his price , was he going to demand over something that she can't give."Don't look at me like that, I'm not going to ask for anything for now. Let's go down, I hope they don't know anything about us."Ivaan walks downstairs after saying this, leaving her in confusion. She was wondering why Ivaan didn't ask for anything. Before he was anxious and impatient to know about why she went to the military academy. She was well aware that I
