CHAPTER 17: Safe 

Lia growled as she stood in all fours in front of them. She was almost about the same size as the three wolves, meaning they weren’t lycans.

I’ve fought with many wolves before, but never three at a time.

I looked ahead, seeing the smirking abnormal rogue still holding Helen who was still dripping blood.

I didn’t need to defeat them. I just needed to wound them enough for them to be distracted so I could take her.

The wolf on my right suddenly jumped me, but in advantage of being a little smaller, Lia was able to quickly evade him.

Lia wasn’t that strong due to our unhealthy living, but I could sense her strength despite everything. And she was quick. Even quicker than healthy werewolves.

I turned towards the wolf and as soon as he landed, I bit his leg off, injuring him so he couldn’t attack me as much as the two could.

When I heard his loud growl and felt his bone crushing, I ripped his skin off and attacked the other who was already on his way towards me.
