CHAPTER 29: His Ugly Emotions

“What are you doing here?”

I asked, shocked at his presence.

I looked around the place, making sure no one was awake as he stayed here.

“Sabrina,” my attention snapped back to him when he almost growled my name out.

“Do you have a relationship with him?” He gritted out.

“Did you really just come here to ask that?”

“Answer my question,” he once again gritted out, sounding like he was just holding himself in.

Seeing the way he clenched his fists as his hazel eyes continued darkening at the emergence of his wolf’s eyes, anger also started burning inside me.

“And what is it to you?” I snapped. “You and I both know that wouldn’t matter because of the state of… whatever we have with each other.”

“Matebond,” he growled out. “We have a matebond, Sabrina.”

“And?” I asked, meeting his angry eyes. “Does it really matter?

“Yes, it does. You have a mate,” he retorted, his anger still very much evident in his tone.

Good story but the plot seems to be slowing down a bit. Not sure if that is intentional or not that the characters are in a never-ending type limbo.
