CHAPTER 41: The Reason

Tongues intertwined, I pulled myself out of his embrace, feeling so out of breath.

“W-wait…I need a moment,” I said and inhaled deeply.

Titus’ hand caressed my back towards my waist, creating small circles on his way down. It was making goosebumps rise non-stop on my skin.

I inhaled deeply again, savoring his scent as it went in my nostrils.

He always smelled so good to me, but since we both accepted the matebond, his smell became better, and it was addicting.

I grasped on his shirt’s neck loosely as I looked up at him after a minute. His usually dark gazes looked sparkling as they watched me. His lips were still shiny from our activity.
