NEXT DAY

I was now fully back to my feet, and I think I was over with the kind treatments, I was filled already, and taking any more of it will only get me lazy.

I needed to work. I was only a servant and all of this treatments were not needed.

I moved to the kitchen and begun my normal routine for chores.

"Greetings Mrs Lara." I said in a more respectful tune as she took her gaze to me.

"Ohh dear Claire, what are you doing here? I think you should still have some rest." Lara the head maid said as I shook off my head.

"I'm done now, and feel healthy enough to take in some work." I argued.

"Are you sure?" She asked as I gave a nod.

"I had no other option than to heal fast, owing to the fact that you treated me with so much care." I said to the head maid as she released a smile.

"All I did was to compensate for all the ill treatments I showed towards you, and it's also an act of me apologizing to you, I am fully aware that what we did to you, were not in a way right." Lara el
