  Time passed bit by bit.

Melissa was shut into an empty room with only a small window by Suzie\'s people.

She woke up and all she could see was pitch black. She was full of anxiety as she thought about her mother and Spencer.

Cowardly waiting for death like this was no way to go. She ran to the door and banged on it as she shouted, \"Hey! Open the door! Let me out!\"

No one answered her.

\"Let me out, do you hear me? You\'re breaking the law!\"

\"Is anyone there?\"

\"My mother will call the police if I\'m gone!\"

Melissa persevered and kept banging on the door hard, her palms were swollen.

It wasn\'t until her throat was hurting every time she spoke that she heard messy footsteps approaching outside.

The sky was bright, and as soon as the door opened, Melissa immediately looked toward the door.
