CHAPTER FORTY-TWO ( Mum Visitation)

The hospital was bustling in its usual frenzy mood. Visitors and patients coming in through and through. Nurses in their white robes running around helplessly and doctors with files attaining to the unending sick patients, on their beds lining up in rolls. I walked straight to the ward my mother lay. I have missed her, it felt as if I haven’t seen her for a year. When I first enter the ward, I was welcomed by an outstanding cry that echoes all over the hospital room. It made me have cold feet.

I felt a quack inside and my heart dropped to the bottom of my stomach. It was a young, beautiful girl of about 15 years, the same age I was when I lost my dad. She had a pitching voice which made her crying sound like a melody. I watched her as she pinched, hit, shake the man who seems lifeless on the hospital bed. It reminds me of the day I lost my dad, I had cried my eyes out. I knew the feelings, why she had refused to let anyone come close to her. It was the same feelings I had. Everyone
