CHAPTER FOURTEEN (Three days to sign)  

Lucas opened it and took a minute to run his eyes over the document in the file before he snapped it shut.

“This is a deal you have to sign concerning the marriage i mentioned earlier to you, it includes in detail all the cash and incentives you will receive as my wife. ” he pushed it out to me with a look that showed he wanted to be done with this and get back to business.

That was the problem with him. He was always in a rush. He usually does things like he was being forced and right now, he was acting like he wouldn't be here if he had a choice.

Well, he really didn't have a choice if he was coming to me for marriage. Insure, he had already weighed the pros and cons of the matter, and I'm sure it was going to be beneficial to him in one way or the other.

Successful businessmen like him wouldn't cut or make deals that wouldn't favor them. They went into a deal rest assured that their interests were protected, hence, the need for the document he was offering to me.
