Chapter Thirteen

"Is this all we need to do to make her drop the lawsuit?" Alexander queried, leaning forward with his hand resting on the glass table. He looked intently at his attorney, Peggy Smith, who sat across from him.

"You have nothing to worry about, Mr. Cena," Peggy reassured with a small smile, as she neatly gathered her documents on the table and stood up to leave.

"Thank you, Mrs. Smith," Alexander said, standing up to shake her hand. As they parted, Peggy smiled and turned to leave, closing the door behind her.

Alexander sat back down, taking a deep breath and letting out a sigh as he leaned back and interlaced his fingers behind his head.

He wondered how Camilla would react to his response to the lawsuit she served him. "Let's see how this goes," he murmured to himself.
