Cameron’s eyes followed Scarlett as she sauntered towards them. He became distracted the moment the doors opened, Lucious was beginning to sound incoherent, the laptop screen in front of him was blurry, and nothing else mattered more in that moment than her.

“Good morning, Mr. Grayson, Good morning, Lucious...” she mumbled her greetings before pulling out the chair next to Lucious and sitting on it.

Mr. Grayson. He had gotten too comfortable with her calling him Cameron all weekend, knowing they were back to Mr. Grayson wasn’t appealing to him. It didn’t help that she wouldn’t look him in the eye.

“Good morning, Scarlett. Nice of you to finally join us.” Lucious’s tone was curt.
