“It has been a year, Reign,” Jasper, my elder brother, who I am video-calling right now. “Did you not even think that maybe Dad finally had a chance to find you since you meddled with Easter’s issue?”

I immediately went home to talk to him to tell him that Easter was fine and that he was with me. I also told him the reason why they got into this kind of situation.

Among our siblings, Jasper is the only one who has more freedom to do what he wants, even in front of our father because he is the heir to the Dahlia Corporation, as we all have the title of Duke of Axia Region.

That is why he is the only one I can count on to convince Dad to take the deal that I constructed for Easter and Ariya. Aside from that, I can also let him handle the investigation and the punishment for the people who tried to harm the company.

“I am doing this for Easter and his child so I risk everything,” I said. “Besides, I am well hidden here. There is no way Dad will find me here.”
