Cassandra POV

"I don't want to get up Dennis, I am so tired," I whined not wanting to get up from the bed. Dennis sighed and hoisted me over his shoulder since I was being too lazy.

"You know you should not be carrying me like this. I have a baby in my belly remember," I told him and he quickly changed the way he was carrying me.

"I am so sorry," he said now holding me in his arms. I laughed at his quick gesture and patted his cheek like a baby would do to their mommy.

For the past few days, Dennis and I have been living in perfect harmony. He did most of the cooking and I did the eating. We watched the sunset, strolled around the house which was extremely large, enjoyed the fragrance of the flowers in the garden and every other thing a couple would do.

He was loving me the way I wanted and I could see that he was genuine at it.

"I hope you like what I prepared for you," he pecked my temple before going over to his own chair across the table.
