Cassandra POV

We got home the next day there was an important call that Dennis got that needed his immediate attention. I had no idea what it was but he seemed rigid towards me after he received the call.

"I will call you later Cass," he pecked my cheek after dropping me off in front of my house before he left.

"Hey, sis you are back I thought you would be away for a week," Ethan welcomed me he seemed to have been doing something before I came in.

"I can smell something delicious what are you cooking?," I asked letting my nose lead me to the kitchen.

"I was craving pork stew so I decided to make one but now that you are here I have to share it," he held my shoulders and made me sit down on our mini dining table.

"Thank you for the food," I appreciated him before digging into his mouth watering dishes. As expected, his dish was divine I missed his fine dishes but enjoyed Dennis dishes too.

I wonder what he would be doing now maybe I should call him. I want to hear his voice
