Chapter 65

The restaurant that we enter is absolutely gorgeous. I have never been to a place like this before. Well, more like never been invited on a date. The way the lights hang a little low, each table having their own chandelier with softly glowing bulbs, make it feel romantic. In all these years, I have never been here. My heart races with excitement. That is, until I see our waitress.

My heart stops dead in it’s tracks as I see her walk over towards us, all smiles and innocence. As if, that could be a thing. She was never miss innocent.
