Forty Seven

I found out I was pregnant when I started feeling weak. Something happened to me and Leo, only one month into our relationship, and I gave him what I kept.

"Are you okay, Hailey?" he asked next to me, we've all been in the laboratory for the past month and we're about to finish what we're doing.

"Leo, I have something to tell you..." I whispered to him as he held my hand.

Many of my fellow agents have died in the past month because a wolf rushed into our fort but no humans died because we drove them away as soon as they noticed that we were strange around since the principal was preparing for our school graduation. There are still some left but none of their houses have a basement like theirs.

"What will you say?" he asked and I grabbed his hand before placing it on my little baby bump.

I saw that he was stunned by what I did and I smiled in front of him, I was surprised when he hugged me.

"Am I right in my mind, Ma?" he asked and I immediately nodded in front of him.

"I'm a daddy!!!!"
