Sixty One

When I saw that Leo was admitted to the hospital, I immediately left to go back to the house where I live now. People of various races greeted me as I passed by, so I just nodded in response to them.

Even though I have a child, my son has not lived in our camp since he joined the association with other people of my race. His Mama is with me but has another family—she is my mate but I let her have another family because she didn't mate me, she let me get her pregnant because she hadn't found what was really meant for her.

"Your son is coming home today," my former mate exclaimed when she came to me and I turned around to see that she was with her children.

Her children are afraid of me even though I don't do anything to them. They don't get to spend time with their brother because my son no longer lives here.

"Why?" I asked as I sent my guard out of the big tent.

"No mention, what did you do?" she raised her eyebrows to ask me, she knows my plan and even if she doesn't agree, she can't
