Fawn was locked up in her hearth, shut off from the rest of Heaven, serving her punishment for her disobedience against God that could cost the world to become the Devil’s permanent playground. She was in the dark with no lie around her and it had been a few months in human time but in her time, it felt like centuries. The loneliness was like a prison that trapped her soul from the rays of joy and gladness and she felt empty inside. Angels were normally happy beings, made pure and without sin but just like everything, they could be corrupted and Fawn felt that way entirely.

She didn’t feel like an angel anymore and it was fair to feel that way because she wasn’t complete. It hadn’t been that long since her punishment began but she had lost her light and didn’t know if she would ever get it back.

Then, she felt a rumble as her hearth rolled open and God moved into it and graced her with his presence. She was not expecting him to come here and yet, here he was.
