The days passed in a blur of activity, and Eva was pleased to see that her father had returned to his old self. His eyes were brighter, and he had a spring in his step that had been missing for far too long. Eva was grateful for the change, but she couldn't shake the feeling that she didn't want to leave Sebastian's side.

As they packed their belongings and prepared to leave, Millie looked up at Eva hopefully. "Eva, are you coming home with us?" she asked, her eyes shining with anticipation.

Eva sighed and reached Millie's level, gently stroking her cheek. "Millie, I won't be coming back," she said softly. "This is my home now, but I will come and visit, and you can come and see me anytime. I will always be here for you."

She was shocked by Millie's lack of excitement. Pulling away from Eva, Millie glared at her and crossed her arms over her chest. "Millie," Eva sighed, trying to reason with her sister, but she was not having any of it.
