Chapter 15: The Alpha
David saw the monstrous reptiles rip and tear through the horde of night beasts but it wasn’t their brutality that caused him to fall but instead, it was Elizabeth.
Elizabeth pushed him out of harm’s way.
“Are you okay??”
David saw Elizabeth’s worried face.
He weakly nods.
“Okay, that’s good. We need to get out of here now. I heard wings earlier and the Draco might come here.”
David nods and he forces his body to stand up.
He groans in pain.
