Chapter Twenty-Three

Two weeks later, Cat stood by Eric as they exchanged vows. It all felt unreal. Within two weeks, she had already moved into Eric’s penthouse apartment and, with the help of Allison, Dawn, and Jo, planned the wedding.

True to his word, Eric had driven her down to Cowra to meet Cat’s foster parents. He had been old fashion even asking for their blessing and her hand in marriage from both Jack and Dawn. This extremely thrilled Dawn. Eric, being Eric, he had won them both over.
