My mood darkened like the draperies on his window when he smirked, and I saw blood! I was taken aback by his arrogance and started walking away, but I came to a halt when I heard him laugh. He must have thought I was a coward because I couldn't meet his demands.

I cursed him and said, "I hope you get herpes soon," as I walked away. It was impolite to wish someone ill, but he brought out the worst in me. When I exited his room, I saw the bodyguard but ignored him. I shouldn't vent my rage on him because he did nothing wrong.

Jacob grabbed my arm as I walked into my room. “Hey!” I yelled at him for being disrespectful.

"That was mean, Bethany," he said.

"What exactly did you mean by that?" When I wanted you to get herpes as soon as possible? Do you think you're unworthy?" I didn't mind if I hurt his feelings. I simply stopped caring, and he should know that he is the one who is wrong, not me!
