Staring past the barrel of the gun pointed at me at the man wielding it, his steely gray eyes search me for any sign of weakness. So this was the plan all along, get me to bring the drugs and then kill me? Nickolas’s suspicions proved to be right all along. I know Javier is a scumbag but a part of me had hoped that he would keep to his word.

Standing my ground as I stare right back into the eyes of this man who seems hell bent on killing me. I wonder who he is. He certainly was not with the group that protected Catalina and neither was he with Javier that night at the warehouse, so who exactly is he? A hired gun? Javier doesn’t seem like the type of man that would trust a hired gun for such a sensitive mission as this but then again do I really know what Javier can and can not do? At this point in time there is nothing on this earth that I can say for certain.

“Any last words, detective or are you too scared to speak?” He asks, with a creepy smile on his face.
