CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

“I see you people found the bedroom.” Ingrid says as I turn around and see her standing in the doorway. I know how this must look so I immediately let go of Lily’s hands on the bed and get up.

I see the smile form on Ingrid’s face as she steps into the room holding a tray with a cup on it. She hands it over to Lily.

“Drink this.” She says, “It will help with the anxiety.”

“How do you know I have anxiety issues?” Lily says as she takes the cup from her. I can see the steam coming out from the cup.

“I noticed the movement you were making with your hands earlier, right before you dashed away.” She sits on the bed beside her. “I used to do that as well. I found out that a mix of Rose leaves and lemon always did the trick.”

Lily takes a sip of the cup in her hand while looking at me.

“That really does help and it tastes so nice. I think I will need the recipe for it.” she says, as she laughs.
