BOUQUET OF FLOWERS

Two reporters holding cameras and tape recorders were being stationed at a corner toward the end of the ER facility by David’s bodyguards while David was adjusting his sleeves in his bid to address them.

June got to the scene and grabbed him by the arm. She pulled him away from the corner. “What the hell are you doing?” she demanded after they moved away from the group.

David sighed. “Look, June, I have to do this.” And without giving her further details, he turned around and aimed for the scene his bodyguards had created for the small press conference.

She was stunned.

After June left to respond to her call a while ago, one of David’s bodyguards came running toward the ER. He told David that there were a handful of reporters outside, striving to get into the hospital but were being held down at the gate by the hospital guards.

One thing David learned from his father was to never let matters get sour before tackling them so he decided to use the commotion to his advantage. He had a
