Immediately after she dropped the call on Eleanor, June placed another call.

“We have a problem.” She spat the moment her call was responded to.

“What problem can be worse than the fact that you didn’t do your job properly? Last night, David had a media briefing and if you weren’t chilling in some darn beach, you would have seen the evidence he presented to the public, and guess what? The public is now sympathizing with him.” The man fired.

June dropped her legs to the sand and clenched her jaw. “What did you want me to do? Remain at the mansion so that they could subject me to some hologram test?”

She heard the man sigh over the phone.

“I’m just pissed right now.” He said.

“Well, I should be the one who’s more pissed because the last time I checked, I was the one who risked it all to shoot that video.” She retorted.

“What problem were you talking about anyway?”

She threw her head backward, wishing she could tell the man to stop getting on her nerves but her hands were tied.
