NIGHT OF CHAOS

Both Sylvia and June were stunned by David’s retaliation. On her part, Sylvia was left dumbfounded that David stood up for her against his fiancée while June had just confirmed her suspicions.

Before the matter could escalate, Sylvia made her way away from the table and was soon on her heels, far from the balcony.

June folded her arms across her chest and stared at David with bloodshot eyes. “What was the meaning of that?”

David sighed and shook his head.

“Did you just grab my hand in front of a fucking servant?” She thundered.

“You should have asked, June but you didn’t. You just showed up and decided to hit her. That was inappropriate.” David retorted.

June grabbed the bottle of wine on the table and smashed it against the wall. She went on ranting.

“Now you want to talk to me about good manners? Did you just say I should have asked?”

“You don’t understand. I need you to calm down and listen to me.” David implored and tried to get close to her.
