SHE’S MY MOM

Eleanor took her head into her hands and crashed onto the edge of the bed. Soon, the image of Sylvia crying while she hurried out of the room earlier wavered in Eleanor’s mind.

“Shit!”She mumbled and stood up. What had she done? She began to pace and kept wondering.

Had she gone far?

The things she said to Sylvia began to flutter in her mind. Eleanor sighed. Poor Sylvia was still grieving and she had probably placed her on that path tonight.

She clenched her jaw. She wasn’t mad at Sylvia. She was mad at herself for saying those hurtful things to Sylvia. Eleanor grabbed her jacket, wore it, and decided to go after her best friend and apologize to her.

While she took steps down the hallway, Eleanor kept reminiscing her moments with Sylvia. The best moments in her life were the ones she had with Sylvia.
