We all went downstairs and met Caden and his friends chatting in the living room.

“Do you need anything?” Valerie asked while making her way over to where I was.

“Do you think I can get baby food anywhere?” I asked while trying to make Ella stop her cries but it really isn’t working.

“The only thing you can find is milk but Caden’s younger sister has a baby so you can get baby food from her” She said.

“And where can I find her?” I asked.

“She is not staying in the pack house” Keith said as he makes his way over to where we are standing and I groaned.

“But I can take you to where you can shop for that” He said and Caden growl.

What is his problem?.

“Or perhaps Caden can take you there” He said with a nervous laugh.

“Couldn’t you have offered like a normal human being?” I asked.

“I will back in a second” He said before going upstairs.

“I want to go with you” Josh said while holding on to my jeans.

“How about you stay with Reuben and Val. I will be quick” I said and he shook his head.

“It is better if you just take him along” Val said and I heave a sigh.

“Plus she is scary” Reuben said while looking over at Amelia.

“What did you say?’ Amelia asked with drawing out her fangs.

“What did you hear?” Reuben replied.

“Reuben!!” I warned.

“Sorry for insulting you, your highness” He said in a mocking voice.

“Thank your stars that Caden is allowing you guys to stay, if not I would have shed you into pieces” She threatened.

“Am going too” Reuben said while Caden makes his way downstairs.

“Why?” Caden asked as he is putting on his shoe.

“I feel like someone might commit murder if I stay” He said while giving Amelia a glare.

“So what exactly do we know she eats?” Reuben said when we arrived.

“What exactly have you guys been feeding her if you don’t know what to buy” Caden asked in disbelief.

“Alpha always take her away when she needs to be fed” Josh said.

“Alpha?” Caden asked.

“Can we just concentrate on the task ahead first?” I asked.

“Which is?” The three all asked at once.

“Getting Ella something to eat” I said.

“Like chocolate?” Josh said and I answer with a no.

“I think you mean something like milk” I said while looking at Caden for his opinion.

“Don’t look at me, I know nothing about babies” He said and I sighed.

“Why did I even allow you guys to come along? You are no help” I said before getting out of the car.

We got home early and met Caden’s Mom watching a movie.

“How was shopping?” She asked immediately we got in.

“Horrible” Caden said.

“Boring” Josh said as soon as Caden finishes his statement.

“And why was it boring?”She asked.

“We weren’t allowed to buy any chocolates” He said while the attention turns towards me.

“Well am sorry for putting your health first” I said in a mocking voice while taking sleeping Ella towards the room.

“Are you staying with her?” Caden asked and I responded with a yes.

“We need to talk” He said.

“Let me see if Val isn’t busy and I can drop her with her” I said and he nodded.

“SPILL” I said when I ensured that Ella was in safe hands.

“We need to talk about this mate stuff. The elder I talked to said it is rare but it happens” He explained.

“Your Mom said something similar as well.” I said.

“Well, the acceptance ceremony into the pack will take place in a few weeks but for now, you need to start training” He said.

“And what if I do not want to be in your pack?” I asked and he groaned.

“I think you don’t have much of a choice. Leaving here with three kids is the crazy shit of the century but it makes sense since it is you” He said and I roll my eyes.

“Will you get to the point already?” I asked.

“Leaving means you are putting the lives of those kids at risk. And what kind of father rejects the mother of his kids and throw them out?” He asked.

He still thinks that they are my kids.

This should be fun.

“Training starts by seven in the morning and you can sleep here, Val got you some clothes. I will take the kids to their own room” He said before taking his leave.

I need a hot bath.

I groaned as someone kept pounding on the door to my room. I lazily make my way to the door and open it to reveal Caden.

“What on earth do you want?” I asked annoyed that he disturbed my morning sleep.

“Do I need to remind you that training starts today?” He asked .

“You were being serious” I asked in disbelief.

I have never trained before in my entire life.

“Did you see me smiling last night?. You have less than five minutes” He said while checking his watch making me dart over to the bathroom.

I put some training clothes, wore my shoe and make my way downstairs.

“Sorry I didn’t come back for Ella. I slept off” I explained to Valerie as we make our way to training grounds.

“It is alright. I figured you needed some rest” She said.

“So Caden is allowing you to join the training sessions?” Amelia said while making her way over to us.

“Seems like you have a problem with me” I said and she scoff.

“Pair up. We are about to start” Keith informed everyone.

“I pick you as my partner” Amelia said.

Am not going to like this.
