Chapter 106
When Bella came out of Augustus’s building, she felt like someone’s gaze was on her. She turned around and looked cautiously. But she saw no one behind.
She took a sigh of relief and went to her home. She was worried as what Victor would think about Augustus?
She hoped that both the men would meet together nicely.
The whole night, Bella waited for Victor to come back but he didn’t come.
At last, Bella felt asleep while waiting for him. In the middle of her sleep, she felt someone’s arm resting on her waist.
She rubbed her sleepy eyes and turned to Victor. “Where did you go?” She asked in hoarse voice.
“Work.” Victor answered indifferently. “And you?”
“I met my friend. Actually I want you to meet him soon.” Bella said sleepily and rested her head on his chest.
Victor held her hand and did not say anything. He was lost in deep thoughts.
