As Simon barged out of the living room huffing in anger, Augustus and Lisa stared at his back in unison feeling distressed as they looked back at Maria's sullen face.

"Maria if someone would have gifted me a girl's necklace as a gift when I was a boy I also would have done the same." Augustus tried to convince her by telling the truth but Maria didn't answer him as she started struggling in his arms grumpily.

Augustus put her down as she also walked out of the living room.

Augustus and Lisa sighed helplessly as they stared at her back. After breakfast, all three kids went to play in the garden while Rheena Carlos and Monte Carlos accompanied them.

Grace went back to her room while Augustus stayed with Lisa until she gets ready. Augustus wanted to drop her off but she politely refused him as she wanted him to rest for a while.

She had seen him working hard these last few days as she was very much concerned about his health and rest.
