YOU’VE GROWN

“Finally, you showed up” Rye spat at me the moment I walked through the hospital doors. It seemed she had just stopped pacing with the angle she was standing, barely facing me but also barely facing elsewhere. Her face had more color than I had remembered but her lips were pursed on a straight line usually they were curved downwards in disappointment.
