****Kevin's POV****

Months later, I still trooped in and out of the infirmary. The doctor had diagnosed the cause of my banging head, dizzy sight and wheezing ears as a mental illness, a breakdown. It was particularly referred to as Major Depressive Disorder. I was given anti depressants and told to take some rest, before my mother was informed and the next day she was seated at my bed side in the infirmary, crying and worried as usual.

“Kevin!" She muttered, immediately our eyes met.

“I'm sorry, baby. My bad decision has cost us so much. I was almost losing my mind and I had no idea that you were worse over here." She said sadly.

I took her hand, before I spoke, “Stop worrying mother, I'm all good" I said.

“Okay?" I urged, but I knew all I said fell on deaf ears.

She looked pitiable when I took another stare at her, and I had to say, “Be strong for me, mother. Trust me this is very minor and I'll be out of here, soon"

My mother nodded her head in support, returning my clasp
